Thingira Cultural Centre

Thingira Centre is a cultural village that serves as a gateway for those seeking to learn about the traditional practices of the people living in the Mt Kenya region. The Centre is located at Makutano town, on the Nairobi – Nyeri Highway. The Centre showcases traditional songs, cuisines, artefacts, games among others from the Kikuyu, Embu, Meru and Kamba communities. Besides, it also has a crocodile village where visitors can watch the reptiles at close range.
